Driving Lessons

If you are a complete beginner, you would generally expect to need between 30 and 50 hours of professional driving instruction if you choose to learn in a car with a manual transmission, before being test-ready. For the automatic car you might need between 10 - 35 hours of training.

The majority of people like to drive for two hours at a time, but we do offer longer lessons of 3 or 4 hours if that’s what you would prefer. Short breaks would, of course, be included in the long driving lessons.

The frequency of lessons is entirely up to you and are arranged, according to your preference and the instructor’s availability. We generally recommend 2–4 hours of tuition per week for optimum progress.

Driving lessons can be purchased in blocks of 10 depending on your personal needs and discounts are applied according to the quantity of lessons booked.

Pass Plus

Pass Plus lessons focus specifically on challenging driving situations, including poor weather conditions, night driving and motorways.  Such driving courses might include working in the dark, in town, on rural roads, motorways and dual carriageways. Additionally, in winter, students are taken out in heavy rain, snow and fog (where appropriate.)
